A little about the creator:

James Bowling is an IT Infrastructure Architect/Engineer, VMware vExpert and virtualization enthusiast located in Houston, TX with over 13 years experience.  James has received the 2009 COMMON/IBM Power Systems Innovation Award for Energy Efficiency for his design and implementation of the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Datacenter in Arlington, TX.  The design successfully cut energy costs by 50%.  He is also an avid Slackware Linux user and advocate.  He is also a documentation contributor for the Linux Virtual Server Project and the Slackware Blog.  He has also created packages for LinuxPackages and Slackware Linux.

James has experience with designing, deploying, and maintaining virtualized infrastructures while utilizing different types of technology.  He currently works for a healthcare company in Houston, TX as the Senior Server Systems Engineer for their server operations team.
