vSphere Lab Give Away

One Year Ago…

Today marks the birthday of vSential.com.  On August 5, 2010, vSential.com was created and brought online to bring good content on virtualization to the wonderful community that I am a part of.  It is because of the others in our wonderful virtualization community that have inspired me to write, such as:

• Eric Gray (@eric_gray)
• Cody Bunch (@cody_bunch)
• And many others

The list could go on and on.  I am so proud to be able to provide content regarding the technologies that we have grown to love and use so much.  The year was filled with many ups and downs as I got off the ground and into the world of blogging.  The highlight for me this year was definitely being invested the 2011 VMware vExpert Award for my contributions to the community.  This has made me extremely proud of what I have done and I can only hope to build on this to bring even more to the community!

New Site Design

So in celebration of the big #VMwareCloud event and the recent honor bestowed upon me, I have decided to change up the site a bit…well…a bunch!  The entire site has gone through a facelift and the logo has been changed as well.  This is a work in progress but I definitely hope that everyone enjoys the new design.  Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I am also moving the site to a new host as well.  If you find anything wrong then please let me know either through Twitter, comments on the site, or through e-mail.

vMotion’d Myself…

Well, I have officially vMotion’d myself from one company to another within the same city and state.  I will be taking a longer hiatus than expected so I can ramp myself up at the new company.  Fortunately I will be hitting the blogging trail again here shortly with some future projects coming down the pipeline at the new company.  Stay tuned here or to my Twitter feed for the new articles that come up and the update on my hiatus.

New Look for the New Year

So with the New Year here, vSential.com has overgone a makeover of some sort.  There are definitely more things that need to be looked into and resolved but I figured that everyone might enjoy a small change!  Happy New Year and I hope to get this blog moving this year!
